Open to all energy industry stakeholders, the National Gas Energy Forum (NGEF) provides a vital platform for disseminating operational and strategic information, sharing ideas and planning for the future of the UK energy sector.

As the critical infrastructure owner and system operator for gas, National Gas has a central role to play in the energy system, securing Britain’s energy and supporting the transition to net zero. Our role includes bringing together all energy stakeholders to facilitate discussions between the industry, regulators and government.

Each NGEF event features two sessions

Part 1. Industry: strategic overview. High-profile speakers from industry, government, energy markets and think-tanks share strategic updates on UK energy policy, regulation, market structure and clean power.

Part 2. Operators: National Gas operational updates. Like its predecessor, the Operational Forum, the NGEF continues to provide information on operational performance, system operator updates and events on the National Transmission System (NTS).

This is a critical time for the energy sector. The NGEF creates an opportunity to mobilise the industry, engage all energy-transition stakeholders, and drive the agenda for the future of UK energy.
